Crucial Releases: rest of May edition
Well, May got away from me... 😅
Our oldest is a senior in high school, so absolutely everything is packed into the last full month of school. Last award ceremony, last school play, last concert, etc etc. Add on top of that LOTS of family birthdays (including his 18th!... mine, my dad's, cousins, etc.) and two more kids worth of sports and concerts. It's been a busy month.
Music doesn't stop though! I haven't spent enough time with most of these releases to have a definitive featured selection, so I'll take the quicker road out of this mess and simply list the albums I liked enough of to spend more time in the future. Short blurbs and For Fans Of (FFO) where appropriate.
Some of these will probably end up on my end of year list, so you'll just have to wait and see for that... oooh, the mystery! 🤣 (Though I did list some of my favorites at the top of Honorable Mentions.)
