What’s a song that grew on you over time?
**Growin' Up by Bruce Springsteen"
Springsteen's first two albums, the ones he recorded before exploding with Born to Run were ones I bought in the early 80s because I wanted to be a true fan, not because I liked them. I wasn't familiar with his recordings of any of the songs and none of them had ever been played on any radio station I listened to. It took a while before I came to appreciate the poetic genius of these tunes and today all of them are near and dear to my heart, perhaps none more so than Growin' Up.
