The word...
A quick week, but a good one! Especially on the featured side of things, with mary in the junkyard’s debut album, Role Model Hermit, a stellar debut and a record that’s currently in my top 5 for the year. Well worth your time.
On the honorable mention side, we have a protest “mixtape” from Margo Price (including covers of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Charlie Daniels, and others) and two solid indie albums: a power punk/pop album from Smirk and an indie folk/pop album from Nixon Boyd. All three are worth checking out, if the mini reviews sound up your alley.
Enjoy!
