A song from the first gig you went to.
A favorite track from just one of the 14 bands who played at my first serious gig— Lollapalooza ‘94. Smashing Pumpkins headlined, but the whole bill was stacked. Boredoms, L7, Flaming Lips, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Breeders, A Tribe Called Quest, George Clinton and P-Funk, and Beastie Boys on the main stage; Flaming Lips, The Verve, Rollerskate Skinny, The Frogs, and Luscious Jackson on the side stage. At 14, I had no idea how good I had it.
