Why is this one of my Desert Island Discs?

Angel, Teardrop, Black Milk. Emotion and passion drips from this album in even its darkest moments. A sonic treat, a soothing balm, the type of album you can put on repeat and not get bored of.

Angel still sends goosebumps rippling across my forearms, Teardrop is a few minutes of complete abandon to the music, and then you are bumped and calmed, back and forth, until the penultimate track grabs you and slowly shakes you harder and harder.

Hard to fault an album where ever track brings something different yet remains uniquely part of this album, of this sound, of this moment. Trip hop, to rock guitars, to ambient subternal beats, I don't have the words to fully cover the soundscapes.

I can still remember my first listen, the place, the headphones, the slow build into something unheard. I remain in thrall of this track and this album. To the Desert it must go!
