A song from the 1970s that you like or means something to you.

I first heard this song on a commercial (an auto/insurance commercial?) in the 00s. I guess I liked the song so much that my dad bought me a CD of this Kansas album. I remember seeing a picture of the band (on the front of the CD case? or if not, then in the booklet) and saying, "they look weird" because I wasn't used to seeing men with long hair. I don't remember my dad's exact words, but his response was along the lines of, "their songs are more important than their looks".
