One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. 2007 was a great year for my relationship with music, the year I had the most scrobbles. I remember so well when the album "The Boy With No Name" was released, probably my favorite album by Travis.

There was this wonderful blog that posted releases as they dropped. I can't remember if I left the computer on overnight downloading or if I spent a few days downloading song by song, fractioning after midnight.

It was a good year, musically speaking (a disaster in other aspects), spending time on Soulseek, asking friends with broadband to download albums from my lists, swapping burned CDs, reading bios on the official Last.fm player, and getting excited with each new update from one of my favorite places on the internet (which still is!).

"Selfish Jean" and "The Boy With No Name" take me back to that feeling. It's nice, nostalgic, and melancholic. Funny, I have the impression it was like that from the very first moment I heard it.

Pertinente, já que eu tinha acabado de publicar que não entendi a letra da nova do FBC.
