I’ve been listening to The Get Up Kids, 4 Minute Mile album all week after my friend Margie was talking about them recently. I offhandedly said, “I don’t think I really like The Get Up Kids”. She threw it right back and reminded me that I bought their CD in Boston in 1997 on our spring break trip and how great they are. So, I dialed it up, the nostalgia came right back, I sang along word for word and I realized I still really like them. Maybe this will be the year of relistening to the college music I fell in love with?
