I think it was 1999, I was in middle school. My brother installed Winamp 2.0 on my dad's computer and got 12 songs from his friend. Some of which I remember - a few songs by Backstreet Boys, some Michael Jackson songs, Scatman, Blue by Eiffel 65, Vengaboys and a few others.

I guess the first song I listened to was Everybody by Backstreet Boys. I loved it so much and it had so many sounds that I found intriguing and was playing them on repeat. I played the same 12 songs for several months.

Been on a #jamband kick lately. Feels great to discover new artists and listen to 20+ or 30+ minutes long tracks. Hoping to discover more.
