What's a song that instantly makes you smile?

Had I written this last night I would have chosen a different song, just something fun and silly, the first one that came to mind, but then at some point today Free played on the randomized favorites list and it’s just that little “I love you” at the beginning, which, I assume, is Amelia Meath talking to Nick Sanborn before recording this take of her vocals that was left in because it adds so much heart.

It’s just so casual and genuine and half absentminded sounding, with her thoughts probably on the upcoming take, almost more of a reflex than deliberate choice, the way you just are with a partner.

And it’s especially sweet when it comes unexpectedly while you’re just listening to music doing kitchen chores.
