Why is this one of my Desert Island Discs?

I've listened to all of the early TMBG albums straight through over and over and they're all great but there's one album that's become synonymous with the band. Do I love Till My Head Falls Off? Of course. Have a listened to Ana Ng hundreds of times? You bet. But the band does Flood shows and sells Flood t-shirts and I have a Flood laptop sticker for a reason.

While I quite dislike the song Dead this is the album.

Like a lot of people my age I first discovered the band from the music video episode of Tiny Toon Adventures with the cartoon videos of Istanbul (Not Constantinople) and Particle Man. It wasn't until I got the album on cassette and read the liner notes that I discovered that Istanbul was a cover, originally by The Four Lads.

It was the first non-Weird Al cassette I bought and was definitely the first album I re-bought on CD.
