I had friends in elementary school mostly because of proximity. But in middle school I met a guy who I was much better actual friends with but rarely saw because he lived further away and our parents weren't friends. I saw him a couple times in my 20s but was bad at keeping in touch, partly because he didn't use the same social websites I did.

He was really into this song because he found it repetitive in a way where he thought it was actively trying to be annoying and he found that entertaining. I think this might also have been the first Soul Coughing album I bought because of Circles even though I liked the song Super Bon Bon better.

I didn't pick a song with "you" in the title on purpose. This song is just noisy and disjointed but in all the right ways. It sounds like something I shouldn't like but I do.

What's a song you only listen to when you're completely alone?

Nothing really. But I tend to skip MC Frontalot songs when they come on in the car if I'm not alone because then I can't pay attention to the lyrics and try to keep up with them.
