Why is this one of my Desert Island Discs?
This is a beautiful instrumental album that I can listen to all the way through without skipping tracks. I am not a fan of Jobim's singing voice, but he was a brilliant composer. I love instrumental bossa nova too, because when it has lyrics, it's usually sung in a language I can't understand. This is wonderful and relaxing music.
