This Old Heart of Mine
Bettye Swann
What’s a remix or cover you like more than the original?
I have lots of them. Today I will go with Bettye Swann's version of "This Old Heart of Mine". Being a ballad lover, I really love how Bettye slowed this song down a lot from The Isley Brothers version. She turned it into a beautiful, soulful ballad.
The Roadie Song
Aaron Neville
Describe the perfect song for a road trip and why it works.
I thought of this one because it has road (roadie) in the title and I think it's just a fun song.

Antonio Carlos Jobim
What song makes you feel like you're in a different country?
I really love this one. Jobim was a brilliant composer.
Woman in Love
Barbra Streisand
What was your favorite song in high school? Why did it resonate?
I had a few different favorites at different points in high school. This was one of my most played songs in high school at one point. Someone bought me a single of this song, and I played it a lot. It wasn't really so much the song though. It was Barbra's vocal. It was the first time I'd actually paid attention to Barbra's singing, and I couldn't believe how great she could sing. Her vocal on this song just blew me away. After I got this single, Barbra became my favorite singer for a while, until Whitney Houston came along.

Aaron & Amanda Crabb
What’s a lyric that resonates deeply with you and why?
I Was Tucking Her In Bed And It Caught Me By Surprise
When My Little Girl Asked Me, What Does God Look Like
Well I Smiled And Laughed A Little, Leaned Over For A Kiss
I Said Baby I Don't Know, But I Can Tell You This
I've Been To The Ocean, I've Stood On A Mountain
I've Seen A Sunset Burn Away A Sky Of Blue
Stared Up At The Star Light, Got Lost In The Midnight
I've Never Seen The Face Of God, But I've Seen What He Can Do
Well I've Thought About The Wonders Around Us Every Day
The Stuff That If You'd Let It, Would Take Your Breath Away
But I've Also Found His Glory Shine From Within
The Heart Of A Sinner Who's Just Been Born Again
I've Been To The River, Watched Souls Going Under
Forgiveness Washed Them Clean And Mercy Made Them New
Gone Is The Old Man, I Can Tell You First Hand
I've Never Seen The Face Of God, But I've Seen What He Can Do
Oh, For Now I Don't Need A Picture,
Somehow This Old World Helps Me See Him Clearer
Cause I've Walked In The Valleys, Cried Out From Sorrow
I Can Tell You Every Fire He's Brought Me Through
And I Know Him Better, Love Him Forever,
I've Never Seen The Face Of God, No, I've Never Seen The Face Of God,
But I've Seen What He Can Do
