The Same All the Time
Billy Gaines & Sarah Gaines
A song from the 1990s that you like or means something to you.
The last time I answered this I picked "Joy to the World" by Whitney Houston. This time I'm picking a beautiful song by Billy & Sarah Gaines, from their 1993 album "Love's the Key".
A song from the 1980s that you like or means something to you.
A beautiful and meaningful song with an important message. This song was sung at Whitney Houston's funeral by some members of The Winans family.
Band Of Gold (Single Mix)
Freda Payne
A song from the 1970s that you like or means something to you.
I answered this back in December and picked "I've Got to Use My Imagination" by Gladys Knight & The Pips. Needless to say, "Midnight Train to Georgia" is also one of my all-time favorites. I could pick it, but since I picked Gladys Knight & The Pips last time, I'm going to pick another one of my all-time favorites from the seventies, by a different artist. Today, I will go with "Band of Gold" by Freda Payne. I have always, absolutely loved this song.
Pick a song that reminds you of a color. What color?
I'm going with "Blue" by LeAnn Rimes. I'll never forget how blown away I was by LeAnn's vocal when I first heard this song. I would have never believed this was the voice of a 13-year-old girl if the DJ hadn't said so after the song was over. LeAnn at age 13 was so far more advanced than most people her age vocally. Here she was only 13, and her voice was already one of the best in country music with this debut single. This song is really a stunning recording, especially for someone that young.

Aretha, Sing One for Me
George Jackson
Post a song that mentions another recording artist or artists.
I answered this question on May 11th. I posted Rumer's "Aretha", which is her tribute to Aretha Franklin. This time I'm posting another song about Aretha Franklin. This one's called "Aretha, Sing One for Me" and it's by George Jackson.
Unchained Melody
Al Green
I don't like it when recordings are sped up or slowed down, so I've got nothing for today's prompt. Instead, I will just post my favorite version of "Unchained Melody".
Yesterday Once More
Carpenters
Pick a song that matches what you are really thinking about just now
Thinking of happy childhood memories. That includes a lot of music, including a lot of Carpenters music.
Your Precious Love
Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell
The last song you heard on the radio
I'll assume you mean internet radio. I just heard this classic duet on AccuRadio.com's "Motown Sound" station.

You Gotta Have a Song
Jim & Melissa Brady
Hit shuffle on your music library and post the first song played
I just did this one a few days ago, but this is always fun to me, so happy to do it again. This time it's "You Gotta Have a Song" by Jim & Melissa Brady. Nice harmonies on this one.
I don't have anything for today's prompt. Today I will just share Rumer's beautiful cover of a Christopher Cross tune.
