An album that, for you, is enduring…

Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain by Pavement. This album will always be one of my favorites because of the jangly melodic slacker sound and passively sarcastic and clever lyrics (or not so passively: the Smashing Pumpkins drama over Range Life). This album brings back memories of my teen summers- a warm late afternoon outside watching my friends skateboard, riding bikes in the woods in the almost darkness of the evening, watching snowboarding videos at a friend’s house, driving to Lake George to go swimming on a perfect blue bird day.
