What song do you turn to when you need to cry?
I know Lindsey Jordan wrote this song from a perspective that isn’t rooted in belief in God. Ironically, that’s part of why it affects me so much.
I hear someone wrestling with regret, mortality, and the possibility that there’s nothing after this. But because of my own faith, I end up hearing hope where she might have intended uncertainty.
That's the beauty of music... Some songs don't always tell you what to think, they leave enough room for you to bring your own story to them.
