What song do you turn to when you need to cry?

I don’t tend to get too sappy about our kids, as they grow. I’m just thankful they’re maturing and are healthy. But this song is almost always one to move me in that direction. It goes so fast.

What's your favorite song about friendship?

I had many other songs come to my mind for this one, but decided to go with the one unlikely to show up on many others’ lists. Free to Be You and Me was such a big part of my childhood.

There’s no such thing as “the” favorite song for any such criteria. But among the many favorites is this one. I wish I could get the lyrics down better than I have them, but it’s still fun to try to sing along.

This reminds me of old friends who helped get me back on track the summer between 8th grade and high school. If it weren’t for them, I’m not sure if I would have turned things around on my own. It is also so fun to sing along to…

This one always reminds me of Dave (even though he’s nowhere near as much of a fan of James Taylor’s music as I am). Still, it reminds me of how fortune I am to be loved by him… ♥️
