You ever have one of those that you never sing the lyrics as they actually are? For example, you make up a lyric that sounds like the actual lyrics and then those lyrics forever stick with you? Yep, that's how I am with Free Fallin' by Tom Petty. For decades, since the mid 80's I've always sung the lyrics as Tree Farmin'. It's just what I heard/hear when the song plays and a couple of friends and myself back in high school sung Tree Farmin' and it's forever stuck. As in, FOREVER! It's literally the only way I will sing the song when it comes on. My wife thinks it's hilarious and laughs every time.
