A song you didn't realize was a cover?
Everybody knows it's a cover now but when I first heard it I just though Johnny Cash was going through a tough time in his life.

A song from the last gig you went to.
It truly has been a very long time since i've been to a gig.
A song you'd do at karaoke?
When I was a teen I would do Jesus of Suburbia and thus hijack the room with my friends for 9 minutes. I'm a tired old man now. I don't want to sing for 9 minutes. So, my go to is this now.
A song you've seen performed live, or would really like to see performed live?
Performed this on drums during a talent show in school. I was so tiny you could barely see me behind the drum set.
A song that you discovered in an unusual way.
I was in the mood to check out some death metal as a teenager to "expand my genre knowledge" but instead I encountered this and they became my favorite band for like a year.
A song that reminds you of a particular friend.
I lowkey miss the time when instead of sending each other links to songs and playlists you'd meet up in school, trade iPods for the day, and just explore each other's music libraries. Then, if your friend was "technologically savvy" they could burn you a CD with your favorite songs.
ANYWAY, this dude basically introduced me to Bloodhound Gang
A song that reminds you of one of your favorite places.
There was a bar called "Couch" back in the 2010s that had cheap drinks, cheap good food (despite being in a fancy downtown neighborhood), and regular live music from various cover bands. A friend of mine was part of an Oasis cover band and we would go there to "support the shows" (drink and eat with friends) on a semi-regular basis. Good times. That bar no longer exists. There's some fancy whiskey lounge there now. It always looks empty, and yet they're still in business. I'd much prefer that "Couch" still existed though.
What song makes you feel like you're in a dream?
A song that reminds you of your last vacation or holiday.
I remember biking around the outskirts of Amsterdam while listening to this on repeat in 2021.
A song in a language that you don't know.
