Today's artist is SUSS, and this song is brand new! I like to describe SUSS as the soundtrack for westerns that don't actually exist. They're twangy, instrumental, but remind me a lot of Hammock and other dreamy bands. Again, perfect music for deep work!

I've got lots of nerd thinking and writing to do today so ... today's artist is Hammock. If you like Explosions in the Sky or Mogwai, they're a lot like them, but mellower. This song isn't their greatest, but it's pretty typical, and it's what's playing right now!

Today's artist is The Delgados. I've had Girls of Valour on every road trip playlist for as long as I can remember, but I don't think I've ever gone back and listened to their earlier albums. I've listened to a ton of Emma Pollock's solo work, but it's time to go back and see where one of my favorite songs came from!

I've been trying to listen to more albums lately (so signing up for this seems a little... something), and this song was the one I shared in my work Slack declaring Thursday New Pornographers day!
