I Fall in Love Every Night
Born Ruffians
For some reason, I'm thinking about Blaseball this morning. I was having a hard time picking an artist this morning, and well, blaseball was the thing that kept my kids and I occupied during the early parts of COVID, so, I perused my 2020 Favorites playlist and Born Ruffians popped out. Another gift from Canada, they're a lot of fun. Poppy indie rock. Enjoy!
Shut 'Em Up
The Prodigy, Public Enemy & Manfred Mann
Have I shared this one before? Cool, cool, I don't care. Are you angry? Do you need a song that goes really well with that feeling? Here you go! It's Public Enemy, The Prodigy and... oddly... Manfred Mann. It works. Trust me. Or don't. I'm angry, I don't care.
Cowgirl (Remastered)
Underworld
This song is made for how music affects my body. It gives me goose bumps, makes my hair stand up and makes me dance. It might not do the same for you, and that's OK.

Another artist that only shows up once in my Coding Music playlist, and maybe the best name of the bunch: Wagon Christ. It's hip-hoppish, and flute! FLUTE!!! Enjoy!
Like Foxes Through Fences
The American Analog Set
Today's artist is American Analog Set - a group I just stumbled on by accident, probably because I had them in an old sampler. I picked them at random from the artists list in Apple Music and well, I like 'em. They remind me a bit of The Wrens on their non-instrumental stuff.
This song is one of their instrumentals, which remind me a bit of William Tyler or SUSS.
So, you know, good combination!
Shadowing Lull
The Orchid
Today's artist is one of my all-time favorite coworker's band, The Orchid, and my favorite song of theirs. It's shoegaze perfection. It's melancholy and just... OK, just listen to it.
Myriads
Western Skies Motel
Today's artist is Western Skies Motel... and we're back on track! They show up in my Coding Music playlist exactly once because I just added this song!
The Trench Coat Museum
Yard Act
Yep, another departure from the Coding Music playlist thing, but in honor of their new album, today's artist is Yard Act!!
The Dubeliscious Groove (Fly Spanish Version)
The Crystal Method
Today's artist is The Crystal Method inspired by a conversation yesterday about mashups, "filthy bass" and how The Crystal Method is better than The Chemical Brothers. This song is from an early EP and I don't think most people know it, but... the bass is filthy. Enjoy!
Oh, and this totally breaks the rule because they show up in my Coding Music playlist way more than once.
Shattered Soul (Instrumental)
The Herbaliser
I didn't finish with The Herbaliser yesterday so you get another one today. Harp in some instrumental hip hop? I'll take it!
