Today's #earworm when I woke up was "Operator" by Jim Croce. My brain is strange.

This music popped up in my random playlist of songs and I'd forgotten about how great it is.

I had to think about this one. I’ve been in a general malaise or funk for the past week or so. But I’m also frustrated and furious at the state of our country and its leadership. So this seemed like a good personal anthem right now.

This song has been hanging in the back of my head for the last (checks calendar) two years or so. I don't hear it in a malicious way, more of a "WTF is wrong with " way.

This was my earworm for today. I woke up with this running through my head. First, I couldn't even figure out which song it was. Then I randomly remembered the artist and had to go through several of her "top songs" to figure out which one it was. I couldn't tell you the last time I heard this, and yet it was stuck in my head.

I don't know why I never clicked with this band, but I just didn't. I never understood why so many people LOVED them. Before I get mobbed, my tastes have changed and there are several songs I like now. But this is the song that made me re-think my previous stance.
